Emanuel Agriculture Development Corporation is looking for financial partners to help underwrite both the academic and the practical side of our first project.
Although Texas Tech University is positioned to provide the necessary expertise in terms of faculty exchange, curriculum and program development, we want to support them financially as they support this initiative academically. The practical side of this equation includes purchasing land and equipment required to start the agribusiness pods.Although labor and other operating costs are low compared to U.S. standards, an initial capital investment is required to establish a high-quality, modern operation that will set a high standard for agricultural education in Romania.
In addition, the school will need professionals with real-world American agribusiness expertise to ensure the proper establishment and management of the agricultural operations. We envision opportunities for individuals to travel to Romania to provide classroom and practical application expertise on both a short and medium term basis.Once the program is established, agriculture teachers and agribusiness professionals from the U.S. will be invited to travel to Romania to teach modern agricultural practices on an adjunct basis.
